WEAVING & GRIEVING

'Weaving Through Loss and Life' was a project funded by Compassionate Communities UK in which the group explored themes of life and loss. Remembering people or moments of loss and death in our lives as well as celebrating hopes and joys. Memory Staffs, inspired by the Native American Talking Sticks, were created alongside handwoven wall hangings and lampshades. The project culminated in an exhibition and presentation evening to celebrate the work and stories shared.
